The cookie contains an unpredictable opaque session identifier; account details and fictional-credit balances remain on the server. It supports sign-in, guest sessions, security tokens, eligibility state, saved ambience and the cookie-preference record. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, and is Secure when served over HTTPS.
Game recovery storage
First-party sessionStorage keys louis:round:{player}:{game} and louis:round:{player}:{game}:choice keep only a pending round reference, chosen play level or selected feature door so an interrupted request can be safely retried. They contain no authoritative balance, password or award. A resolved request removes its pending key; remaining tab storage expires when the tab session ends. Keys louis:reminder:{started} and louiscairos:slots:reminder:{started} remember a session-reminder acknowledgement for that tab. These are essential functional records for play continuity and care controls.
Requested display preferences
First-party localStorage key louis:effects remembers a reduced-effects choice when you use that control. The louiscairos-comfort-v1 key can retain requested motion, contrast, text, volume or quality preferences for compatible game clients; it is not an advertising profile. These device preferences remain until changed or cleared through the browser. No localStorage or sessionStorage entry is used for analytics, advertising, authoritative balances or account credentials. In-memory reel animation state disappears when its page closes.
Your controls
Essential security and session storage cannot be turned off through the preference form while continuing an authenticated session. You can block or remove cookies through your browser, but doing so signs you out and may discard guest progress. Removing cookies does not close a registered account or cancel a server-side play break. The Preference Centre confirms that optional storage is off; no pre-ticked optional categories are used.
Changes and questions
